This collection by Irsol is a much more meaty and hard hitting Industrial electronic record than their debut tape "First Contact".
The title alludes to the fact that side one is a studio recording and side two was recorded live; the live side being the more brutal of the two. Some excellently raw electronics become more harsh thanks to the 'sports hall' acoustics of the venue.
A classic tape of phat industrial electronica released on the excellent Adventures In Reality label.

IRSOL was the creation of four A Level Students aged between 16 and 18 in Coventry 1981-1983.
Ash was also the keyboard player of Attrition (still active darkwave group) at the time, anad other members contributed to Attrition particularly Death House.
I was one of the members, and we are considering re-releasing the old material.
Hi Richard, coventry seemed to be a hot bed of Industrial musick rather than that boring Ska stuff. This should be celebrated by you lot re-releasing these cassettes. I have had a few chats with Alan rider from Adventures in Reality, and he says he has plans to re-release stuff. If and when you do I'd be happy to promote it on this site.
And if you have any unreleased Irsol hanging around, maybe you could donate it to Die or DIY?
Good to hear from you.

Hi Woody!
Great to know you are still out there!
I think the IRSOL stuff should definately be re-released. I have a few contacts and the Last Supper will be re-released on CD and Download this year (probably winter). The CD market is pretty small though and downloads tend to get ripped by most people for free so no great fortunes to be made.
If you'd be interested in working on a re-release on Adventures in Reality, get in touch
alanrider1@aol.com. In fact, get in touch anyway!
