Blah Blah Blah - " In The Army " (Absurd Records 1979)

This 7" single by Blah Blah Blah was released in 1979 in the UK , and it is indeed absurd DIY synth insanity at its best. The A-side In The Army starts off with the great line "I'm in the army, and I'm goin' killin'" and continues to list all the positive sides of life in the military. The B-side Why Diddle? is minimal synth dementia, but way too short. I suggest putting it on repeat and see how long you can take it. But don't stop before the phrase "Why Diddle?" is thoroughly etched into your brain.
One of the best singles of all time.
